Scope of Work: Design, Zoning and Permitting of new 2 story addition
Location: Trafalgar Rd, Halton Region
Project Statistics
The Project involved interior renovation of an existing Single-Family Home and addition of a two-storey wing consisting of garage on ground floor and a two-bedroom on upper level. The renovation included removal of load bearing walls on main floor and extension of second floor space into the addition.
Engineered Plans was commissioned to prepare building permit drawings compliance with OBC Standards.
Some of the challenges faced during construction included condition of the existing footings. Changes to the structural supports and detailing were continuously implemented during construction due to changing site conditions.
