This Project included two major parts including renovation of an existing 2nd floor a new addition of the 3rd floor. The renovated multi-story building included a great study room at 2nd floor & a Living Room, Master Bedroom with Closet.
EngineeredPlans was commissioned for Structural analysis, design of the existing floors & foundation design of the multi-story apartment. We prepared as-built drawings for the entire home, including elevations and site plan. Permit drawings were prepared for the city of Toronto and application submitted online.
Permit Drawings were prepared using Revit to model the entire building. 3d scanning software was used to get mm precise measurements.
Challenges on this project including designing a new footing to carry the extra load of the new 3rd storey addition.
